Getting to Greenwell Point

Greenwell Point From Sydney

1. Take the Princes Highway south from Sydney (Alternatively take Picton Road from SW Sydney)
2. Continue on the Southern Freeway and Princes Highway (it changes several times from freeway to highway)
3. Once in Bombaderry continue on the Princes Highway across the Shoalhaven River into Nowra
4. Turn left into Kalandar St at the Archer Resort (it becomes Greenwell Point Rd after 900m)
5. Continue on Greenwell Point Rd through lovely dairy country
6. Enter Greenwell Point, drive past the local shops down toward the waters of the Crookhaven Estuary
7. South Coast Retreat is opposite the local children’s park and main wharf

Suggested Directions From Canberra (via Southern Highlands)

1. Take the Federal Highway
2. Continue on the Hume Highway
3. Take the Moss Vale exit and take Route 48 to Moss Vale
4. Turn right at Route 79 for Fitzroy Falls and Kangaroo Valley
5. Continue on Route 79 to Bombaderry and Nowra
6. Once in Bombaderry continue on the Princes Highway across the Shoalhaven River into Nowra
7. Turn left into Kalandar St at the Archer Resort (it becomes Greenwell Point Rd after 900m)
8. Continue on Greenwell Point Rd through lovely dairy country
9. Enter Greenwell Point, drive past the local shops down toward the waters of the Crookhaven Estuary
10. South Coast Retreat is opposite the local children’s park and main wharf

Alternative Scenic Route From Canberra (via Nerriga)

1. Take the Kings Highway east of Queanbeyan
2. At Bungendore turn left for Tarago
3. Travel through Tarago and turn left at Nerriga Rd
4. Continue through Nerriga and then into Nowra via HMAS Albatross and Albatross Rd
5. Turn right into Kalandar St at the roundabout (it becomes Greenwell Point Rd 900m after the traffic lights)
6. Continue on Greenwell Point Rd through lovely dairy country
7. Enter Greenwell Point, drive past the local shops down toward the waters of the Crookhaven Estuary
8. South Coast Retreat is opposite the local children’s park and main wharf

Alternative Coastal Route From Canberra (via Batemans Bay)

1. Take the Kings Highway east of Queanbeyan
2. Before Batemans Bay turn left (north) onto the Princes Highway to Nowra
3. Turn right into Kalandar St at the Archer Resort (it becomes Greenwell Point Rd after 900m)
4. Continue on Greenwell Point Rd through lovely dairy country
5. Enter Greenwell Point, drive past the local shops down toward the waters of the Crookhaven Estuary
