Parking

Cabin 1 – A parking space for one vehicle is in front of the cabin or to the left between Cabin 1 and Cabin 2.

Cabin 4 – A parking space for one vehicle on the grass between cabin 4 and cabin 5. Please leave space for a vehicle from the cabin next door. 

Cabin 7 – A parking space for one vehicle is located under the cabin. Beware of low clearance.

If you have a second car or trailer please ask us if there is available parking space on grounds or use the public car park opposite South Coast Retreat.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with an electric frypan (there is no oven or hotplate), microwave, refrigerator, utensils, crockery, kettle and toaster. Dishcloths, tea-towels, dryer rack and detergent plus aluminium foil, cooking oil, kitchen paper, insect repellent plus an iron and BBQ cable are located under the sink.

Complimentary start-up supplies of tea, coffee & biscuits are provided.

Sleeping

The main bed is queen-size and is made with fresh linen, doonas, pillows. In winter a spare blanket is provided. Porta-cots are available upon request when booking with our compliments.

Bathroom

Complimentary toiletries, hand towel, bath mat and bath towels are provided.

Extra toilet paper and soaps are located in the vanity under the sink.

Deck

The deck is a lovely place to sit and while away time. Feel free to move the furniture to so it best suits your needs.

There is a gate on the deck to help manage toddlers and pets.

The electric BBQ has a non-stick grille and operates like an electric frypan. The controller/cable is located under the sink in the kitchen.

Temperature Control

The reverse-cycle air conditioning unit is energy efficient and quiet. The remote control is located on the wall near the entrance. See separate instructions section.

Eco Tip     open windows or doors to make the most of the cool breezes.

TV

The TV is tuned into free-to-air television stations. DVDs can be borrowed for free from the old amenities block.

Hot Water

The instant gas hot water system starts automatically when a hot water tap is opened.

If the system fails the electricity may have shorted.  See “Electricity” below.

Electricity

Safety/isolation switches are located in a switchboard outside the cabin – see site services map.

For your safety, if the power fails please unplug all appliances (especially toasters, hairdryers and heaters) and switch off the power points before attempting to switch on any isolation switch in the switchboard.
