Terms and conditions

We hope you enjoy your stay at South Coast Retreat Greenwell Point.

Conditions of stay

  • No unreasonable noise at any time, particularly after 10pm.
  • If you become unwell with symptoms consistent with COVID-19, get tested immediately and stay in your accommodation or return to your home until you have received the test result.
  • External visitors are allowed during the day only.
  • Dogs must be under control and well-behaved. Up to 2 dogs are welcome in each cabin, safari tent or house but not in bedrooms. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and must not be left unattended at any time. Dogs are not to be fed or given water inside accommodation and must be cleaned up after. Restricted breed dogs, dogs declared dangerous or menacing, or nuisance dogs are not permitted.
  • Check-in is from 2pm. If you would like an early check-in please let us know – we will clean your place first and call you as soon as it is ready.  If you will be arriving late let us know and we will make arrangements with you.
  • Accommodation must be left clean, tidy and vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
  • No refunds for early departures.
  • Any charge for services to you, or any damage, extra cleaning or loss to our accommodation or equipment at South Coast Retreat for which you are responsible, that are not billed at the time of your departure, may be charged to the same credit card used to pay your account or to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account.

Failure to meet any of the above may result in your stay being terminated and payment taken for the full booking.

Payment policy

  • Any outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card used to secure the booking 7 days before arrival (or 28 days in the case of a long term or group booking or bookings arriving from mid-December to mid-January or at Easter).
  • If payment is declined, we will attempt to contact the guest by phone and email. If payment cannot be secured by close of business that same day the booking will be cancelled and the guest notified by email.
  • Credit card details are required as security for bookings. Payment by American Express incurs a 4.4% surcharge. Visa and Master Card are surcharge free.

Cancellation policy

  • You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival (or 28 days in the case of a long term or group booking or bookings arriving from mid-December to mid-January or at Easter).
  • The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel within 7 days of arrival (or 28 days in the case of a long term or group booking or bookings arriving from mid-December to mid-January or at Easter), do not show on the day of scheduled arrival, or depart earlier than the scheduled day of departure. When accommodation is resold for the same period a refund will be issued up to the same resold value but not exceeding the original guest’s charge.
  • If a stay is affected by government-issued travel restrictions the guest can cancel anytime free of charge the full stay (or if already staying, the remaining portion of the stay).
