WATERVIEW TWO BEDROOM CABIN FEATURES

Parking

A parking space for one vehicle is located under the cabin.  WARNING – there is low clearance under cabin 8.

If you have a second car or trailer please ask us if there is available parking space on grounds or use the public car park opposite South Coast Retreat.

Kitchen

Cabin 8 – The kitchen is fully equipped including a small electric hotplate/oven (note that only one element operates at a time- see instructions), electric frypan, microwave, refrigerator, utensils, crockery, kettle and toaster.  Dishcloths, tea-towels, dryer rack, detergent, and mosquito coils are located under the sink.

Cabins 9 and 10 – The kitchen is fully equipped including a full gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, utensils, crockery, kettle and toaster. Dishcloths, tea-towels, dryer rack, detergent, and mosquito coils are located under the sink.

Complimentary start-up supplies of tea, coffee & biscuits are provided. An iron, ironing board, dustpan, brush and broom are located in the broom cupboard. High chairs are available upon request with our compliments.

Sleeping

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom sleeps up to three in one double bed and one single bed above (duplex bunk).

Warning    The top bunk bed can be dangerous for young children. 
Children under the age of 8 must NOT use the top bunk.

All beds are made with fresh linen, doonas, pillows. In winter a spare blanket is provided. Porta-cots are available upon request when booking with our compliments.

Bathroom

Complimentary toiletries, hand towel, bath mat and bath towels are provided.

Extra toilet paper and soaps are located in the vanity under the sink.

Deck

The deck is a lovely place to sit and while away time. Feel free to move the furniture to so it best suits your needs.

There is a gate on the deck to help manage toddlers and pets.

Cabins 9 and 10 – the main key can be used to open the respective interconnecting door on the deck.

The electric BBQ has a non-stick grille and operates like an electric frypan. The controller/cable is located under the sink in the kitchen.

Temperature Control

The reverse-cycle air conditioning unit is energy efficient and quiet. The remote control is located on the wall near the unit.

Eco Tip     open windows or doors to make the most of the cool breezes.

TV

The TV is tuned into free-to-air television stations. DVDs can be borrowed for free from the old amenities block.

Hot Water

The instant gas hot water system starts automatically when a hot water tap is opened.

If the system fails the electricity may have shorted.  See “Electricity” below.

Electricity

Cabin 8 – safety/isolation switches are located in a switchboard outside the cabin – see site services map.

Cabins 9 and 10 – safety/isolation switches are located in a switchboard behind the main bedroom door in the cabin

For your safety, if the power fails please unplug all appliances (especially toasters, hairdryers and heaters) and switch off the power points before attempting to switch on any isolation switch in the switchboard.
